 Journey is the first dog I have handled in the conformation ring, and the first dog my husband has trained to a Senior Hunter title.  Despite being novice trained and handled, Journey manages to excel in everything she does.  She is a Best in Sweepstakes winner who was pointed and awarded multiple Reserves from the puppy class.  The spring she turned 18 months, she alternated her weekends between dog shows and hunt tests; she earned her WC on the first try, her JH in 4 straight legs, and was Winners Bitch at least one day every weekend she was shown except one, where she was Reserve Winners Bitch at a Specialty with a 5-point major entry.  That spring she also got her first major during the weekend of the Dallas Specialty.
After spending the summer and fall training in the field, Journey finished her championship her first weekend out with a 4-point major at the AGRC Specialty.  One week later she earned her WCX title on the first try, and the following week earned her first Senior Hunter leg. All titles were earned by 2 1/2 years of age.  We are very proud of how truly versatile Journey has proven to be.
